What you get.

  • Know before you go

Whether it is open right now, what it sells and for how much, and what is on special this week.

  • Reviews you can weigh

Ratings come from written reviews by members, one each. Seeded ratings were removed.

  • Contact without searching

Phone, WhatsApp, email, website and directions on the page, with the enquiry already written.

  • Open to everyone

The directory is on the public web, so you can share a listing with anyone, member or not.

How you are protected.

The safety rules and limits, stated plainly.

  • A business's street address is hidden by default. Only the suburb and state show, and the map pin is moved 150 to 300 metres, unless the owner chooses to show the full address.

  • Removed listings, listings from banned owners, and listings hidden after 3 safety reports never appear in the directory.

  • Ratings come only from real reviews. Each member can leave one review per business, and the app does not let owners review their own business.

  • Report a business in the app by picking a reason. An upheld report removes the listing and gives the owner a strike.

  • Chaana Verified is a free, hand-checked ABN status. It is never sold, and Featured is always labelled.

Questions people ask.

How do I find Nepali businesses near me?

Browse the Chaana directory on the website or in the app. Choose a category or search a name, type or suburb, then switch on Open Now or Nepali Staff and set your suburb or state.

Do I need an account to browse the directory?

No. The business directory is public on the Chaana website. Following, saving and reviewing businesses happen in the app and need a free account.

What categories are in the Chaana directory?

Accounting, Automotive, Beauty, Education, Food & Drink, Grocery, Healthcare, Legal and Services.

What does "Chaana Verified" mean?

The business entered its ABN and a Chaana admin checked by hand that it is registered. It is free, and it confirms the ABN, not the quality of the service.

Are the reviews on Chaana real?

Ratings come only from reviews members have written: 1 to 5 stars with text, one per member per business. Earlier seeded ratings were removed.

What does the Featured badge mean?

The business paid for a 7-day Featured placement in that area. Featured listings are always labelled, so you can tell them apart.

Why can't I see a business's street address?

Owners choose whether to show it. By default only the suburb and state are shown, and the map pin is approximate.
