App Lock: a PIN on the Chaana app.

App Lock puts a 4- or 6-digit PIN on the Chaana app, asked for each time you open it. The PIN is stored only on your phone, as a salted hash, and is never sent to Chaana. Set it up under Profile, then App Lock.

What you can do.

A PIN when you open the app: Choose 4 or 6 digits. The app asks for it each time you open it fresh.
A lockout on guessing: Five wrong attempts lock the app for 60 seconds.
Offered, never forced: The app offers a PIN right after you sign in. You can skip it, change it or turn it off later.
A way back in: "Forgot PIN? Sign in with email instead" lets you in with your email and password.
A regular check: For security, the app asks for your email and password again every 30 days.

How to set up App Lock

Open Profile in the Chaana app.
Tap App Lock, "PIN login & security".
Choose a 4- or 6-digit PIN and set it.
Next time you open the app, enter your PIN.
To change it or turn it off, go back to App Lock.

Is my PIN sent to Chaana?
