My Appointments: room viewings and job interviews, agreed.

My Appointments is a shared booking between a poster and someone who contacted them, for a room viewing or a job interview. The poster proposes a date and time, the other person confirms or declines, and both see the same status. It is free, in the Chaana app.

What you can do.

See who contacted you
Every Message, Call or WhatsApp tap on your room or job is logged. The My Listings tab shows everyone who reached out, grouped by listing, with how many times.
Propose a time
Tap Schedule, choose a date and a start and end time, and send it as a Propose Viewing or Propose Interview.
Confirm or decline
The other person sees it under For Me as "Awaiting you" and taps Confirm or Decline.
Cancel if plans change
Either side can cancel, and the other person is told in the app.
Call or WhatsApp from the booking
Reach the other person from the same screen. Their number is masked on screen, for example 04••••• 678.
Viewings on the listing
Confirmed viewings show on the room page as upcoming viewings.

How it works.

How to book a viewing or interview

  1. A member calls, messages or WhatsApps a poster about a room or job. The contact is logged.
  2. They agree a time on the phone or in WhatsApp.
  3. The poster opens My Appointments, My Listings, finds the person and taps Schedule to propose the date and time.
  4. The other person sees it under For Me as "Awaiting you" and taps Confirm or Decline.
  5. Both see the status change, with an in-app notification. Either side can cancel.

  • Phone numbers are masked on the Appointments screen.

  • There is no messaging inside My Appointments. It holds the time and the status, nothing else.

  • Appointments exist only for rooms and jobs. Businesses cannot take bookings through Chaana.

  • Nothing is booked until the other person confirms it, and either side can cancel.

How do I book a room viewing on Chaana?

Contact the poster by phone or WhatsApp and agree a time. The poster adds it in My Appointments, and you confirm it there.

Where do I find My Appointments?

In the Chaana app, tap Bookings on the Home screen, or open Profile and then My Appointments.

Can I message inside My Appointments?

No. My Appointments holds the time and the status only. To talk, use the Call or WhatsApp buttons, which open your phone's own apps.

Can businesses take bookings through Chaana?

No. Appointments are only for room viewings and job interviews.

Can I cancel an appointment?

Yes. Either the poster or the other person can cancel, and the other side gets an in-app notification.
